Following the protest Monday evening, which was initiated by Bobby Kay the owner of the Larry Timms #54,
Brandon Overton was found legal
Wendell Chavous was found illegal - Chavous did not have GM piston rings
stated Fastrak Technical Manager/director, Shane Hanes.
Chavous is now banned from Fastrak racing weekly or touring events including grand nationals and other special events hosted by Fastrak for 365 days and is fined $1000 before he maybe allowed to compete again.
Chavous is filing Appeal, Fastrak will take the Appeal and remain under appeal until further notice.
